Dr Jinny Foo

Dr Jinny Foo is a highly qualified and compassionate Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Fertility Specialist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, individualised care to women at all stages of life. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr Foo supports individuals and couples through their unique healthcare journeys, whether they are navigating complex fertility challenges, managing a pregnancy, or seeking expert gynaecological care. She is particularly recognised for her empathetic nature and her commitment to ensuring that every patient feels heard and supported during what can often be deeply personal and challenging times.

Dr Foo obtained her Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2008. During her medical studies, she completed an exchange programme at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, focusing on obstetrics, gynaecology, and paediatrics. She went on to complete her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within a major metropolitan health network in New South Wales. Committed to academic excellence, she also holds a Master of Reproductive Medicine and a Master of Women's Health. Dr Foo is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and has achieved her Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, which is the highest recognised qualification for fertility specialists in Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, she contributes to the future of medicine as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales.

In her clinical practice, Dr Foo offers a broad range of services across obstetrics, gynaecology, and reproductive medicine. She has a special interest in fertility preservation, particularly for patients undergoing cancer treatments, as well as paediatric and adolescent gynaecology. Her surgical expertise encompasses minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery, and reproductive surgery. Dr Foo is also highly skilled in managing general gynaecological concerns, including abnormal cervical screening, colposcopy, family planning, and contraception.
