Dr Jillian Wells

Dr Jillian Wells is a highly experienced and compassionate Specialist Dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of skin conditions. With a clinical focus that spans general dermatology and complex skin malignancies, she is particularly renowned for her expertise in cutaneous lymphoma, including mycosis fungoides and Sézary syndrome. Dr Wells is widely recognised for her empathic and considerate approach, ensuring that each patient receives personalised, high-quality care tailored to their unique dermatological needs.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr Wells has held key leadership and clinical roles as a Consultant and Staff Specialist across various prominent healthcare settings in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has been instrumental in advancing patient care for rare skin conditions, having established a multidisciplinary cutaneous lymphoma clinic in 2008 to coordinate specialised, collaborative treatment pathways. In addition to her clinical work, she contributes to the broader medical community as an Associate Lecturer, researcher, and active member of national and international steering committees dedicated to T-cell lymphoma.

Dr Wells graduated from the University of Sydney in 1997, earning her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours. She completed her Basic Physician training at a major metropolitan teaching hospital before undertaking specialist Dermatology training across several leading tertiary hospitals. Dr Wells is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) and serves as a Board Member for the college.
