Dr Jhanavi Iyer

Dr Jhanavi Iyer is a highly dedicated Respiratory Physician and Sleep Medicine Physician who specialises in the comprehensive management of lung and breathing disorders. With a particular clinical focus on allergic diseases and asthma, she is committed to providing personalised, evidence-based care to help patients achieve optimal respiratory health. Dr Iyer works closely with her patients to diagnose and manage a wide range of complex pulmonary conditions, ensuring they receive the support and treatment necessary to improve their quality of life.

Her clinical expertise spans a diverse array of respiratory and allergic conditions. Dr Iyer has extensive experience in managing asthma, including severe asthma, as well as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. She offers specialised treatments such as allergy testing, allergen immunotherapy for allergic rhinitis (commonly known as hayfever), and advanced monoclonal antibody therapies for severe asthma and urticaria. Dr Iyer completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2011. Following her graduation, she undertook her Basic Physician Training and subsequently completed her advanced specialist training in respiratory and sleep medicine.
