Dr Jennifer Curnow

Dr Jennifer Curnow is a highly respected Consultant Haematologist based in Westmead, Australia. She specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of blood disorders, encompassing both malignant and non-malignant conditions. Dr Curnow is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care, working closely within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal treatment pathways for individuals diagnosed with blood cancers. Her clinical approach is characterised by a commitment to evidence-based medicine and a reassuring, professional manner that supports patients throughout their healthcare journey.

With a profound interest in thrombosis and haemostasis, Dr Curnow is a recognised leader in the management of clotting and bleeding disorders. Her clinical expertise spans transfusion medicine, coagulation, fibrinolysis, and platelet disorders, with a particular focus on conditions such as von Willebrand disease. Beyond her clinical practice, she has contributed significantly to the broader medical community, having served as the President of the Thrombosis and Haemostasis Society of Australia. Dr Curnow completed her medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1994.
