Dr Jaclyn White

Dr Jaclyn White is a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist and Ophthalmic Surgeon who provides comprehensive eye care for both adult and paediatric patients. With a dedication to improving and preserving her patients' vision, Dr White specialises in a wide range of general ophthalmic conditions. Her clinical practice encompasses general adult ophthalmology, paediatric eye conditions, and strabismus. She is particularly renowned for her expertise in genetic eye diseases, bringing a highly specialised and reassuring approach to families and individuals facing complex inherited ocular conditions.

Dr White began her academic journey at the Queensland University of Technology, where she graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Science. She then pursued her medical training at The University of Queensland, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2007. Following her formal training, she was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO). Committed to advancing her knowledge, Dr White completed further tertiary studies in Diagnostic Genomics and was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship, which enabled her to travel to the United Kingdom and Canada to gain advanced expertise in inherited eye diseases.
