Dr Ingrid Bretherton

Dr Bretherton is an Endocrinologist. Dr Bretherton has a special interest in transgender medicine and treating endocrine issues during pregnancy. They are passionate about providing high quality health care to people from all walks of life. They take a warm, compassionate and collaborative approach.

Dr Bretherton is a medical researcher and is currently investigating the effects of hormone therapy on bone health. They also mentor medical students and Endocrinology advanced trainees and is an examiner at a Medical School.

Outside of work Dr Bretherton enjoys travelling, baking, and spending time with their husband and two children.
