About Dr Hugh Roberts

Dr Roberts is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. They completed their medical degree through The University of Melbourne and undertook specialist training at many tertiary referral hospitals, including the Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Alfred and St Vincent's Hospital, Melbourne. Dr Roberts has a special interest in the early detection and management of skin cancer and has published numerous articles on this topic in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr Roberts is a consultant dermatologist at the Victorian Melanoma Service, a multidisciplinary melanoma unit at The Alfred. They also attend the melanoma clinic at the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria. Dr Roberts also has an interest in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery and is a PBS authorised injector of Botulinum Toxin for axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating).

Dr Roberts recently served as the Director of Training for the Victorian Faculty of the Australasian College of Dermatologists as well as a member of the National Trainee Selection Committee. They are a member of The Skin Health Institute and participate in the mentor scheme for dermatology registrars.
