Dr Heidi Beadnall

Dr Heidi Beadnall is a highly qualified Consultant Neurologist who specialises in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of complex neurological disorders. With a primary clinical focus on multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology, she is dedicated to providing comprehensive, individualised care to patients navigating these challenging conditions. Dr Beadnall also manages a wide range of general neurological presentations, combining clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centred approach to help individuals understand their diagnoses and treatment pathways.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Beadnall is an active researcher and academic, contributing significantly to the advancement of neurological science. Her research interests lie at the intersection of neuroimaging and clinical outcomes, particularly in the utilisation of automated quantitative brain MRI measures to monitor disease progression and treatment efficacy. By integrating cutting-edge technology and artificial intelligence into clinical practice, she aims to improve diagnostic accuracy and personalise therapeutic strategies for her patients.

Dr Beadnall completed her medical degree (MBBS) and subsequently obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), qualifying as a specialist Neurologist. To further her expertise, she completed a sub-specialty Fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at a major tertiary teaching hospital and research centre. She was later awarded a PhD from a leading Australian university for her pioneering research into quantitative MRI brain atrophy measurement techniques and their clinical correlations. Dr Beadnall also serves as a Clinical Lecturer, sharing her knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals.
