Dr Heath Adams

Dr Heath Adams is a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiologist who specialises as an Interventional Cardiologist and Structural Cardiologist. With a patient-centred approach, he is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality cardiac care. Dr Adams focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, helping patients achieve optimal heart health and improved quality of life through advanced medical treatments and risk factor modification.

Dr Adams completed his medical education at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2009. To further refine his expertise, he completed a prestigious clinical fellowship in London, focusing on advanced interventional and structural cardiac procedures. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Leadership and a Diploma of the UK Medical Revalidation Programme. Dr Adams is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).

In his clinical practice, Dr Adams has a particular interest in the management of complex heart conditions, including aortic stenosis, valvular heart disease, and structural heart conditions. He is highly proficient in performing advanced procedures such as transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), coronary physiology assessments, and intravascular imaging. Additionally, he is dedicated to managing acute coronary syndromes and implementing preventative strategies through risk factor modification to support long-term cardiovascular wellness.
