Dr Hashim Kachwalla

Dr Hashim Kachwalla is a highly dedicated and compassionate Cardiologist who is committed to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to his patients. With a focus on patient-centred outcomes, he specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiac conditions. His clinical approach combines advanced medical expertise with a reassuring manner, ensuring that patients feel supported and well-informed throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Kachwalla completed his medical degree at Grant Medical College, graduating from the University of Bombay in 1990. He subsequently undertook his specialist Cardiology training in Australia, followed by dual fellowship training in both Echocardiography and Interventional Cardiology. He holds professional fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Kachwalla is actively involved in medical education and research. He serves as a Senior Lecturer, dedicating his time to teaching, assessing, and supervising junior medical staff and university students. His primary areas of clinical interest include interventional cardiology, heart failure management, and performing diagnostic procedures such as angiography and echocardiography to help patients achieve optimal heart health.
