Dr Hans Lombard is a highly qualified Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon who is dedicated to restoring his patients' quality of life through precise surgical and non-surgical care. Specialising in upper limb conditions, he focuses on the treatment of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Dr Lombard obtained his medical degree in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2006. He went on to complete his Master of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery at Stellenbosch University and earned a Fellowship of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa. After relocating to Australia, he passed the rigorous Australian fellowship examination in 2009, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. To further refine his expertise, he completed a prestigious fellowship in Upper Limb Surgery at a major metropolitan hospital in 2010. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

With a clinical focus on upper limb surgery, Dr Lombard provides comprehensive care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. His areas of interest include carpal tunnel surgery, hand, thumb, and finger arthritis, Dupuytren's disease, and complex fractures of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. Additionally, he treats sports injuries, general orthopaedic trauma, and performs minimally invasive keyhole surgeries, as well as hip and knee joint replacements.
