Dr George Condous is a highly distinguished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who specialises in gynaecological ultrasound and advanced endosurgery. He is widely recognised for his expertise in the non-invasive diagnosis and surgical management of complex conditions such as endometriosis. Throughout his career, Dr Condous has been at the forefront of clinical innovation, having established pioneering acute gynaecology services that integrate expert sonographic evaluation at the initial point of patient contact. He is also a past President of the Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM).
In addition to his clinical work, Dr Condous is a dedicated academic and researcher, holding a position as a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. His research interests include the management of ectopic pregnancies, pregnancies of unknown location, miscarriage prediction, and the diagnostic accuracy of transvaginal ultrasound for deep endometriosis. He has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals and has edited multiple textbooks on gynaecological ultrasound.
