Dr George Awwad

Dr George Awwad is an Adelaide-based orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and management of knee and hip conditions. He has a particular focus on sports injuries and joint replacement surgery, including the latest advancements in robotic-assisted procedures and the direct anterior approach to the hip.

 Dr Awwad consults and provides treatment for a wide range of knee and hip conditions across multiple locations in Adelaide. His approach is focused on individualised patient care, providing clear education about treatment options to support informed decision-making.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Awwad is an Associate Clinical Lecturer at The University of Adelaide and is actively involved in research, including studies on return to sport after knee injuries and the longevity of different knee replacements.
