Dr Geoff Findlay

Dr Geoff Findlay is a highly qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practises the full scope of his speciality. With a patient-centred approach, he is dedicated to delivering exceptional, reassuring care to individuals requiring complex surgical interventions of the mouth, jaws, and face. Dr Findlay combines clinical excellence with advanced surgical techniques to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.

Dr Findlay completed his comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate training in Queensland. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours (BDSc Hons I). Demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of surgical practice, he obtained a Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FRACDS - OMS). He has served as a Consultant in major maxillofacial units, where he was actively involved in the training and examination of Registrars. Additionally, he has held leadership roles such as Chair of the Board of Study and Regional Surgical Committee Director of Training.

In his clinical practice, Dr Findlay has developed special interests in trauma and reconstructive surgery, orthognathic surgery, and osseointegrated implants. He is particularly skilled in utilising 3D computer-assisted surgical planning to tailor treatments to the unique anatomical needs of each patient. His broad expertise also encompasses dentoalveolar surgery, bone grafting, jaw reconstruction, and the management of oral and maxillofacial pathology, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and advanced care.
