Dr Eugenia Ip

Dr Eugenia Ip is a highly qualified General Surgeon and Specialist Breast Surgeon who is dedicated to providing personalised, compassionate, and evidence-based clinical care. She focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes for her patients, combining advanced surgical techniques with a holistic approach that recognises breast health as an integral component of overall physical and emotional wellbeing. Dr Ip is committed to staying abreast of the latest clinical trials and research to ensure her patients receive the most advanced and effective treatments available, with a particular focus on achieving optimised aesthetic outcomes alongside excellent cancer care.

Her extensive training includes specialised experience in both benign and malignant breast conditions, as well as advanced oncoplastic breast surgical techniques. Dr Ip completed accredited post-fellowship training in breast surgery, gaining valuable clinical experience at world-renowned specialist breast cancer centres across the globe, including in Paris, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. She has a particular clinical interest in minimal scar and minimally invasive breast surgery, and she is certified to perform breast ultrasounds and targeted biopsies to ensure precise, comprehensive assessments.

Dr Ip graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of New South Wales in 2008. She completed her general surgical training and was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018. Committed to academic excellence, she has also earned a Master of Surgery, a Master of Public Health, a Master of Surgical Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Surgery specialising in breast surgery. Dr Ip is actively involved in surgical education and clinical governance, serving as a Senior Adjunct Lecturer and Prevocational Supervisor.
