Dr Emma-Jane Roper

Dr Emma-Jane Roper is a dedicated and compassionate Paediatrician who provides comprehensive care for children from infancy through to adolescence. With a strong focus on general paediatric health, she is committed to supporting children's growth, wellbeing, and development. Dr Roper has a particular interest in early childhood behaviour and developmental concerns, helping families navigate a wide range of medical, behavioural, and developmental challenges.

Believing in a holistic and family-centred approach, Dr Roper prioritises the unique needs of each child and works collaboratively with families and allied health professionals to achieve the best possible health outcomes. Her clinical background includes specialised experience in child protection, where she served as a Senior Registrar, gaining valuable expertise in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children. She is passionate about delivering reassuring, high-quality care that supports the overall wellbeing of the child and their family.

Dr Roper graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Liverpool, England, in 2003. After relocating to Australia, she completed her specialist paediatric training across several regional and metropolitan hospitals. In 2013, she obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General Paediatrics. She remains an active member of the professional medical community, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of paediatric medicine.
