Dr Elsie Chan

Dr Elsie Chan is an ophthalmologist with a subspecialist interest in cornea and cataract surgery. Their research interests are in keratoconus and endothelial disorders.

They are a fellow of the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. Dr Chan has authored over 55 publications relating to corneal disease and cataract surgery.

Dr Chan is an honorary fellow with the University of Melbourne (Centre for Eye Research Australia). They are currently a principal investigator for studies on Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy, keratoconus and ocular trauma. Dr Chan is a member of the Editorial Board for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology.
