Dr Edwina Lamrock

Dr Edwina Lamrock is a highly qualified Specialist Dermatologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, individualised care for patients with a wide range of skin conditions. Renowned for her commitment to clinical excellence, she approaches patient care with a reassuring and professional manner, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs of the individual. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Lamrock is deeply passionate about medical education, regularly teaching and supervising Registrars, General Practitioners, and Medical Students to help shape the future of dermatological care.

Dr Lamrock completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle, graduating with Distinction. Her outstanding academic and clinical performance was recognised with the prestigious Faculty of Health Medal and the Andrew Lojszczyk Prize for the highest overall ability in clinical performance in surgery. She went on to complete her specialist dermatology training across several major metropolitan and regional hospitals, gaining extensive experience in diverse clinical settings. Dr Lamrock is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and maintains an active role in the public health system as a Visiting Medical Officer and Clinical Supervisor. She has also contributed to the advancement of her field by publishing research in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at international dermatological conferences.

With comprehensive training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, Dr Lamrock manages both acute and chronic skin conditions. Her areas of clinical interest include acne, psoriasis, eczema, hidradenitis suppurativa, and autoimmune connective tissue diseases. She is skilled in performing a variety of specialised procedures, ranging from diagnostic skin biopsies and the surgical excision of skin cancers to cryotherapy, phototherapy, and photodynamic therapy. Additionally, she provides targeted treatments such as patch testing for allergies, intralesional steroid injections, botulinum toxin therapy for hyperhidrosis, and non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures.
