Dr David Rankin

Dr David Rankin is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive and compassionate primary care. Dr Rankin is committed to fostering long-term therapeutic relationships, ensuring that patients receive reassuring and continuous support throughout their health journeys.

Throughout his career, Dr Rankin has developed a broad range of clinical interests within general medicine. He has extensive experience in key areas such as internal medicine and paediatrics, allowing him to manage diverse health conditions across all age groups. His clinical approach is strongly informed by preventative health strategies and public health principles, aiming to help patients achieve optimal well-being and prevent chronic illnesses.

Dr Rankin graduated with honours from Sydney University, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He subsequently completed his residency training at a major hospital, where he gained valuable experience in various medical fields. In 1989, he obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Committed to academic excellence and the advancement of General Practice, Dr Rankin also completed a Master of Public Health at Sydney University in 2010 and serves as a Senior Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
