Dr David Holford

Dr David Holford is a General Practitioner practising at Market Street Medical Practice in Brisbane, Queensland. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1986 and has more than 30 years of experience in general practice. Prior to relocating to Brisbane, he owned and operated a medical practice in North Queensland for many years.

Dr Holford has extensive experience in general medicine and has additional expertise in emergency medicine, aged care, Indigenous health, antenatal care, paediatrics, and procedural medicine. He provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages and has particular interests in men's health, including prostate health and low testosterone, women's health, chronic disease management, and child health.

His areas of practice include iron infusion therapy, skin checks, skin biopsies, skin excisions, wound care, ECG assessment, asthma management, immunisations, travel medicine, ear syringing, musculoskeletal injuries, trauma management, antenatal care, geriatric medicine, rural and remote medicine, ingrown toenail surgery, Mirena removal, and the management of acute infections and chronic medical conditions.

Dr Holford also has experience performing a range of procedures, including skin surgery and iron infusions.
