Dr David Cleveland

Dr David Cleveland is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a strong focus on occupational health and preventative medicine. With a clinical background spanning multiple medical disciplines, he delivers patient-centred care that addresses both general health concerns and complex workplace-related medical needs. Dr Cleveland is committed to supporting his patients through evidence-based treatments, helping them achieve optimal health outcomes and safely navigate their recovery journeys.

Throughout his career, Dr Cleveland has developed significant expertise in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, alongside Injury Management and Rehabilitation. His clinical interests extend to specialised health surveillance programmes, particularly those focusing on dust-related lung diseases, hazardous substances, and noise-induced health issues. Additionally, he is highly skilled in Skin Cancer Medicine, performing thorough dermoscopy assessments and surgical procedures to manage skin conditions effectively. His diverse experience in Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Cardiology, Psychiatry, and Surgery enables him to approach patient care with a well-rounded and reassuring perspective.

Dr Cleveland completed his medical training in the United Kingdom, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. After qualifying as a General Practitioner, he relocated to Australia to further expand his expertise in occupational health. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Health and a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health. Dr Cleveland is a Fellow of the Royal College of Australian General Practitioners and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK. He also serves as a Deputy Chief Medical Officer and is an Advanced Trainee and Registrar with the Australian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine under the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
