Dr Daniel Croagh

 Mr Dan Croagh is a specialized surgeon in hepatobiliary and pancreatic conditions, primarily practicing at Monash Medical Centre and Jessie Macpherson Private Hospital. 

He pursued surgical training at St Vincent’s Hospital, concurrently earning a PhD in stem cell biology at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. 

Mr Croagh’s Fellowship training encompassed stints at Monash Medical Centre and the Liver Transplant Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK. 

Mr. Croagh’s expertise lies in hepatobiliary endoscopy (endoscopic ultrasound and ERCP), intricate liver and pancreatic surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions, managing gallstone disease, and severe pancreatitis. 

With a commitment to tailored interventions, Mr Croagh strives to deliver optimal care by customizing surgical and endoscopic approaches to each patient's unique needs. 

His role as a Senior Lecturer at Monash University and Director of Research for the department of upper gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery at Monash Medical Centre reflects his active involvement in clinical and fundamental scientific research.
