Dr Clare Schofield

Dr Clare Schofield is a highly dedicated and thoughtful Consultant Dermatologist who is committed to providing holistic, patient-centred care. With a reputation for practising with integrity, she applies her clinical knowledge to achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients. Dr Schofield treats a diverse range of dermatological conditions, ensuring that each individual receives a tailored and comprehensive treatment plan.

Dr Schofield graduated from medical school in 2004, earning first-class honours and a place on the Dean's roll of excellence, alongside university prizes in surgery, obstetrics, and gynaecology. Following her initial medical and surgical roles, she undertook specialist training in dermatology, completing the majority of her residency at a major tertiary hospital. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and an active member of the Victorian Faculty of the College.

Her clinical expertise spans general, cosmetic, and laser dermatology. Dr Schofield has extensive experience in managing inflammatory skin conditions, performing skin cancer assessments, and delivering advanced laser therapies. Alongside her clinical work, she is deeply involved in medical education, serving as a supervisor of training for dermatology at a prominent public hospital and regularly teaching General Practitioners and medical students.
