My mum had an excellent experience with Dr Chee Cheen Yeong. She was scheduled for elective finger surgery in two weeks, but during her pre-operative assessment, a heart issue was identified and she needed cardiology clearance before it was safe to proceed.

From the moment we met Dr Chee, he made the whole appointment feel calm and reassuring instead of stressful. He explained everything clearly and took the time to answer our questions, which gave my mum a lot of confidence.

What we appreciated most was that he arranged a stress echocardiogram on the same day, allowing everything to be assessed promptly. After the test, he reassured my mum that she was safe to proceed with her surgery, which was a huge relief.

The stress echo protocol was particularly well chosen for my mum. A few years ago, she had been unable to complete a treadmill stress test, so we were worried this would happen again. However, Dr Chee selected a program that was much better suited to her, and she completed it comfortably and without difficulty.

Another thing we are especially grateful for is that my mum only speaks Mandarin, and Dr Chee speaks Mandarin fluently. Being able to communicate directly in her own language made her feel understood, relaxed, and confident throughout the consultation.

We are truly grateful for Dr Chee’s professionalism, efficiency, kindness, and thoughtful care. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable cardiologist who genuinely puts patients at ease. Thank you, Dr Chee, for taking such good care of my mum.
