Dr Brendan Guthrie is a dedicated Dentist who is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred dental care. He operates under the core philosophy that the most important person is the patient sitting directly in front of him. Known for his warm, friendly manner and reassuring approach, Dr Guthrie excels at building strong relationships with his patients, helping even the most anxious individuals feel completely at ease during their visits.

Dr Guthrie qualified as a Dentist in the 1980s, embarking on his professional career with a graduate posting in the Cairns countryside. During this formative period, he and his team provided essential dental care to thousands of primary school children, including those from State and Aboriginal mission schools. This early experience was instrumental in shaping his gentle clinical approach and fostering his passion for paediatric dentistry and family-focused care.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr Guthrie has maintained a strong focus on general dentistry, preventative care, restorative treatments, and cosmetic dentistry. After spending a significant portion of his career as a Practice Partner and Practice Principal, he now focuses entirely on clinical work as a Consultant Dentist. This allows him to dedicate his full attention to solving complex dental problems and providing personalised treatment plans without the distraction of administrative duties.
