About Dr Arti Rattan

Dr. Arti Rattan is a Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Bariatric Endoscopist with over 24 years of clinical experience, primarily within University Teaching Hospitals. She completed an Advanced Fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and the endoscopic management of Barrett’s oesophagus at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. Following her advanced training in Gastroenterology at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, she served as a Gastroenterologist with Queensland Health.

Dr. Rattan has been awarded a Fellowship by the American Gastroenterological Association and is an active member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia, the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. In addition to English, she is fluent in Hindi, Kashmiri, Punjabi, and Urdu.

Consulting across multiple locations including her clinics in Five Dock, Randwick, and Campbelltown, Dr. Rattan also serves as a conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. She is dedicated to educating medical students and gastroenterology trainees, and actively contributes to research, with numerous publications in high-impact international journals. Currently a PhD candidate at UNSW, she is investigating whether common viruses can cause gastric cancer.

Dr. Rattan offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound, to effectively manage gastrointestinal and liver disorders.
