Dr. Anoop Koshy

Dr Anoop Koshy is a highly accomplished Consultant Cardiologist based in Melbourne, Australia, specialising in general, interventional, and structural cardiology. With a clinical focus on complex coronary and valvular heart diseases, Dr Koshy is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and personalised care to his patients. He has a particular interest in the assessment of chest pain, the management of arrhythmias, and the treatment of weakened heart function. His patient-centred approach ensures that individuals and their families are fully supported and heard throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Koshy completed his medical degree with honours, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS (Hons)). He went on to complete his general cardiology training in 2017, followed by extensive advanced sub-specialisation in interventional and structural heart interventions both locally in Australia and at a prestigious high-volume catheterisation laboratory in New York. In addition to his clinical qualifications, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Melbourne, where he also serves as a Lecturer. Dr Koshy is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
