Dr Angela Hurley

Dr Angela Hurley is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with a strong focus on building lasting relationships with her patients and their families. Dr Hurley believes in delivering holistic healthcare that supports her patients' long-term well-being, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their medical journey.

Before embarking on her medical career, Dr Hurley completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney and worked in medical research. During this time, she also pursued a professional swimming career, representing Australia at a World Cup level. She completed her medical training in 2016, obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Dr Hurley gained valuable clinical experience working in emergency departments and completing a specialised country paediatric term. She went on to achieve her specialist Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2021.

With a broad range of clinical expertise, Dr Hurley has developed special interests in women's and children's health, sports medicine, and sexual health. She is highly experienced in managing acute illnesses, chronic disease prevention, and mental health concerns. Her background in competitive sports and medical research uniquely positions her to provide well-rounded advice on physical health, preventative medicine, and general family care.
