A/Prof Andrew Morokoff

A/Prof Andrew Morokoff is a consultant neurosurgeon. A/Prof Morokoff completed a brain tumour fellowship at the Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard University in Boston, USA. Following this, they completed a paediatric neurosurgery fellowship at the Necker Hospital for Children in Paris, France. They have trained extensively in Australia, Europe and the United States in the latest minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques.

A/Prof Morokoff is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia, The Clinical Oncological Society of Australia, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons and The European Association of Neurosurgeons. A/Prof Morokoff is committed to a patient-centred approach to diagnosis and surgery and aims to ensure that every patient is cared for in a pleasant, effective and fully informed way.

A/Prof Morokoff also holds a PhD in the molecular biology of brain tumours and directs an active brain cancer research programme. They have published over 70 papers and is a regular invited speaker at both national and international conferences.
