Dr Andrew Epstein

Dr Andrew Epstein is a highly accomplished Consultant Cardiologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. With a reassuring and professional approach, he is dedicated to helping patients manage their heart health and improve their quality of life. Dr Epstein has extensive expertise in general Cardiology, with a particular focus on complex coronary interventions and the management of chronic heart conditions.

Throughout his career, Dr Epstein has developed a strong clinical interest in coronary artery disease and complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). His clinical capabilities also extend to the management of heart failure, valvular heart disease, and heart rhythm disorders. He is highly skilled in cardiac pacing and has a proven track record of establishing advanced cardiac services, including specialised programmes for chronic total occlusion (CTO). Dr Epstein is also deeply committed to medical education, sharing his knowledge by teaching medical students, Junior Doctors, and Clinical Nurse Practitioners.

Dr Epstein completed his medical degree at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. He went on to undertake advanced research at Oxford University, where he was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in molecular biology. He completed his specialist training in coronary intervention, pacing, and heart failure in the United Kingdom, and later undertook further advanced training in heart failure and cardiac transplantation. Dr Epstein is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
