A/Prof Amar Trivedi

Associate Professor Trivedi is a highly experienced Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Ultrasonologist who has been treating patients in Frankston, Mornington and Wonthaggi for over 40 years. He is dedicated to providing the best possible care for his patients and educating the next generation of doctors. He is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Peninsula Health in Melbourne.

After he received his primary medical degree in 1981 from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Associate Professor Trivedi went on to specialise in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, completing a graduate diploma in Obstetrics from the University of Auckland in 1989. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).

Associate Professor Trivedi has published numerous academic papers on various obstetrics and gynaecological issues, and has recently released a book about Gynaecology. He is an Associate Professor at Monash University where he is responsible for training and supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is also a member of councils and committees for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and for the Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. He is currently on the RANZCOG Expert Witness Panel.
