Dr Amanda Tait

Dr Amanda Tait is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With extensive experience practising across various communities in Central Queensland, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families at every stage of life. Dr Tait adopts a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that each patient receives personalised treatment tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Tait completed her medical training at The University of Queensland, where she earned her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. Demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, she achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In addition to her clinical practice, she is actively involved in medical education, contributing her expertise to training and mentoring the next generation of junior doctors through a regional university.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Tait enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has a particular clinical interest in Paediatrics, providing supportive and reassuring care for infants, children, and adolescents. Her expertise also extends to Women's Health, and she is qualified to conduct specialised occupational health assessments, serving as a Resources Safety and Health Queensland Examining Medical Officer and a Rail Authorised Health Professional.
