Dr Amanda Scott

Dr Amanda Scott is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and holistic patient-centred care. With a reassuring and empathetic approach, she supports patients through all stages of life, helping them navigate their health journeys with confidence. Dr Scott is particularly passionate about family medicine, working closely with individuals and families to deliver tailored healthcare solutions that promote long-term well-being.

Dr Scott completed her medical degree with Honours at Monash University in 2005. Following her graduation, she gained extensive experience across several medical disciplines during her postgraduate training, including general medicine, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, and psychiatry. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2015. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Scott is actively involved in medical education, teaching General Practice Registrars and medical students, and serving as an Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

In her clinical practice, Dr Scott has developed a strong focus on women's and children's health. She provides expert care for children of all ages, from newborns through to adolescents. Her expertise in women's health encompasses preconception care, contraception advice, premenstrual tension (PMT), and menstrual issues. She is fully trained in the insertion and removal of contraceptive devices, including intrauterine devices (IUDs) and contraceptive implants. Furthermore, she is accredited to provide obstetric shared care, supporting expectant mothers through pregnancy and helping new families transition smoothly into parenthood.
