Allison Conyer

Allison Conyer is a registered Psychologist who brings a warm, compassionate, and straight-forward approach which is particularly engaging with adolescents. They employ an integrative approach to therapy, drawing upon a wide-range of evidence-based therapies. Conyer believes that there is no “therapy-fits-all”; thus, they work collaboratively with each individual client to develop a comfortable, trusting relationship and find the approach that best suits them.

Conyer relates well to people of all ages from different cultural and religious backgrounds. They recognise the influence of cultural and familial backgrounds on the emotional and cognitive wellbeing of an individual, in addition to one's life experience and current circumstances.

Influenced by family systems theory, Conyer also works with couples and families to support both the individuals and the family unit. They believe that healthy relationships foster healthy individuals and healthy individuals live more content and meaningful lives.
