He is highly focused on preventive medicine, particularly in the early detection and management of skin cancer. Additionally, he has a strong interest in neurodevelopmental care, collaborating closely with leading Psychiatrists to assist in the comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults. His diverse clinical focus also extends to chronic disease management and geriatric care, where he works to optimise the health and well-being of elderly patients.

Dr Macbell obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and subsequently achieved a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, he has undertaken advanced training in skin cancer care. He is a distinguished member of both the Skin Cancer College of Australasia (SCCA) and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAA).
