Dr. Alison Parkington

Dr. Alison Parkington is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist who provides compassionate and evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and parents. With a warm and empathic approach, she focuses on helping young people navigate a variety of emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges. Dr. Parkington is committed to creating a supportive and reassuring environment where families can collaborate to achieve positive therapeutic outcomes.

Throughout her career in both public and private healthcare settings, Dr. Parkington has developed significant expertise in supporting young individuals facing anxiety and depression. She also assists clients dealing with behavioural difficulties, sleep issues, and learning difficulties. Additionally, she provides specialised support for students experiencing study-related stress, as well as individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Dr. Parkington completed her Bachelor of Arts and her Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology before obtaining her Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from La Trobe University, qualifying in 2007. Her extensive academic training and clinical background equip her with the specialised skills necessary to deliver high-quality psychological care tailored to the unique needs of each young person and their family.
