Dr Alison Louise Ryan

Dr Alison Louise Ryan is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys the diverse nature of General Practice, welcoming patients of all ages and backgrounds. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Ryan focuses on building strong, collaborative relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Ryan completed her medical degree at Monash University, graduating in 2007. To further her clinical expertise, she obtained a Certificate in Women's Health and achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Prior to specialising as a General Practitioner, she gained valuable clinical experience working in the fields of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as Emergency Medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr Ryan has developed a strong clinical interest in women's health, preconception care, and sexual health. She is highly skilled in providing comprehensive pregnancy care, including shared antenatal care, and offers various contraceptive options such as intrauterine device (IUD) and Implanon insertions and removals. Additionally, she has a passion for paediatric care, enjoying the opportunity to support the health and development of babies and children. Beyond her clinical practice, she is dedicated to community wellbeing, contributing her medical expertise to healthcare initiatives for disadvantaged youths.
