Dr Ali Mohamed

Dr Ali Mohamed is a highly qualified Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He believes in a collaborative approach to women's health, prioritising open communication and shared decision-making to ensure each patient feels fully informed and supported throughout their treatment journey. By combining clinical excellence with a reassuring and compassionate manner, Dr Mohamed helps patients navigate complex health decisions with confidence.

Dr Mohamed completed his medical education and initial training across Australia, Egypt, and the United Kingdom, gaining a broad international perspective on women's healthcare. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD). He undertook his senior Specialist training in Victoria, culminating in becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2019. To further refine his surgical expertise, he completed a prestigious fellowship in New South Wales, achieving the highest level of accreditation in advanced laparoscopic surgery from the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society (AGES). He is also a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in the United Kingdom.

With a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques, Dr Mohamed specialises in the management of complex gynaecological conditions. His clinical interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery for severe endometriosis and pelvic pain, as well as laparoscopic hysterectomies and myomectomies. He is also highly experienced in treating heavy or abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian cysts, pelvic floor disorders, and vulval skin conditions, alongside performing colposcopies for abnormal cervical screening results. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Mohamed is deeply committed to medical education, actively contributing to research and the mentorship of future medical professionals.
