Dr Alexander McQuinn

Dr Alexander McQuinn is a highly qualified and dedicated Radiologist and Interventional Neuroradiologist based in Edgecliff, Australia. He specialises in providing advanced, minimally invasive, image-guided treatments for complex conditions affecting the brain, head, neck, and spine. With a patient-centred approach, Dr McQuinn is committed to delivering precise diagnoses and cutting-edge therapeutic interventions that help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.

Dr McQuinn began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours, followed by his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) in Adelaide, where he also completed his specialist training in Radiology. To further refine his expertise, he relocated to Sydney to undertake postgraduate fellowship training in both Interventional Radiology and Interventional Neuroradiology. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and holds prestigious certifications including the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) and recognition from the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Interventional Neuroradiology (CCINR).

In his clinical practice, Dr McQuinn focuses on utilising state-of-the-art endovascular techniques to treat vascular disorders of the central nervous system. His areas of clinical interest include cerebral aneurysm repair, dural arteriovenous fistulas, and acute stroke treatment.
