Dr. Alexander Dearden

Dr Alex Dearden is a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon practising in Sydney. He has specialist training in complex reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, with particular interests in skin, breast and facial surgery. His clinical work focuses on restoring function and achieving refined aesthetic outcomes through tailored surgical care.

Dr Dearden completed a fellowship in facial skin cancer surgery and head and neck reconstruction at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in 2022, followed by a microsurgical fellowship at St George Hospital. He currently practises at St George Private Hospital, St George Public Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney.

Dr Dearden’s clinical interests include skin cancer surgery, facial reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, breast surgery and cosmetic surgery. His specialist fellowship training in facial skin cancer surgery and head and neck reconstruction, together with additional training in microsurgery, supports his work in complex reconstructive procedures.
