About Dr Angelo Preketes
Dr Angelo Preketes is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over three decades of experience in cosmetic, reconstructive, and microsurgical procedures. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1989 and completed his early surgical training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and St George Hospital.
In 1997, Dr Preketes began his specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Training at Westmead Hospital, where he developed advanced expertise across a broad range of subspecialties, including microsurgery, burns surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, skin cancer surgery, and paediatric plastic surgery. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2000.
After completing his training, Dr Preketes undertook further mentorship under senior plastic surgeons in Sydney, refining his skills in cosmetic and aesthetic surgery. In 2001, he established his private practice in Penrith, New South Wales, where he continues to provide expert surgical care with a focus on safety, precision, and natural outcomes.
Dr Preketes is a member of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
