Dr Alan Samakeh

Dr Alan Samakeh is a highly qualified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive care for conditions affecting the face, jaws, and mouth. He is dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals feel reassured and fully informed throughout their treatment journey. His clinical practice encompasses the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, ranging from routine dental extractions to complex reconstructive procedures.

Dr Samakeh completed his Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours at the University of Sydney in 2011, followed by his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the same institution in 2015. After completing his initial medical training, he undertook extensive specialist training through the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons at various major maxillofacial units. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

With a strong commitment to clinical excellence, Dr Samakeh has developed key clinical interests in orthognathic surgery, obstructive sleep apnoea, and facial reconstruction following trauma. He is also highly skilled in the management of temporomandibular joint disorders, the placement of dental implants, and the removal of impacted teeth, including wisdom teeth. Dr Samakeh maintains an active interest in clinical research, particularly focusing on the long-term outcomes of temporomandibular joint surgery and facial trauma, to ensure his patients receive the most advanced, evidence-based care.
