Dr Ajay Koshti

Dr Ajay Koshti is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad background spanning hospital medicine, general practice, and clinical leadership, he is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Koshti enjoys managing a wide variety of general practice presentations, ensuring that his patients receive thorough, empathetic, and unhurried consultations.

Dr Koshti completed his primary medical qualification, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a university in India in 2002. He then pursued postgraduate training in general practice in Scotland, achieving membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2008. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development, he also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with distinction from a business school in Glasgow in 2016. Dr Koshti is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a status he achieved in 2017, and has contributed to the medical community as a GP Trainer since 2011. His previous leadership roles include serving as a Partner in a large general practice surgery in Scotland and working as a Clinical Director for a local health board.

Throughout his career, Dr Koshti has developed several key areas of clinical interest. He is particularly passionate about chronic disease management, with a strong focus on type 2 diabetes mellitus. Additionally, he possesses expertise in occupational medicine, workers' compensation, and the management of work-related injuries. Dr Koshti also offers specialised services in non-surgical cosmetic medicine and anti-ageing treatments, including anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, micro-needling, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, alongside performing routine skin checks and minor surgical procedures.
