Dr Adrian Mar is a highly regarded Dermatologist. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1990, and later specialised in dermatology. He began as a Consultant Dermatologist at Monash Health in 2001, and became the Head of Dermatology there in 2006; a position he has now held for over 17 years. He also has keen involvement with education and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University's department of medicine.
Dr Mar has expertise in a wide range of conditions, including inflammatory skin conditions, hair disorders and skin cancer. He has a sub-specialist interest in the management of vitiligo, and co-founded the Skin Health Institute's Vitiligo Clinic where he is also a visiting consultant.

Dr Mar is very thorough and really listens to what you have to say. I enquired about a new paste to treat skin cancer and Dr Mar advised that as he hadn’t researched the treatment he was reluctant to recommend. However, Dr Mar did take the time to research this treatment, which in the end, he was happy to recommend. We are over the moon with the excellent end result. I highly recommend Dr. Mar.

Dr Mar answered all my questions. He was very thorough and gave advice for future self management, whilst at the same time assuring me that I could contact the office for another appointment if anything changed.

Adrian has been looking after me for 10 years & has been caring , explaining everything clearly & always involving your participation & input in decisions . He takes his time to treat you & you never feel that you are being hurried .

After 18 years of dealing with an annoying skin condition on my face, multiple GP opinions, previous specialist opinions, multiple treatments and lots of $$$ spent. One visit with Dr Adrian Mar, one prescription given, and my skin condition has completely settled down and my face is looking the happiest it's ever been. Highly recommend.
