Dr Abbas Al-Wasffi

Dr Abbas Al-Wasffi is a highly qualified Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Laparoscopic Surgeon who provides compassionate, patient-centred care. Known for his gentle and reassuring demeanour, he is dedicated to supporting women through every stage of their health journey, from general gynaecological concerns to pregnancy and childbirth. Dr Al-Wasffi strongly believes in involving patients and their partners in the decision-making process, ensuring a safe, positive, and highly personalised experience as they transition into parenthood.

Dr Al-Wasffi holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). He completed his specialist training and subsequently undertook a dedicated fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and pelvic surgery at major Australian teaching hospitals. Committed to advancing the field of women's health, he also serves as a Conjoint Lecturer, teaching and mentoring medical students at a prominent Australian medical school.
