Specialists at Burwood is a Specialist Medical Clinic offering services across a range of medical specialties, including cardiology and recently added speech pathology and physiotherapy services.

The team is made up of four surgeons, Dr Ali Humadi, Dr Arun Gupta, Dr Raghavan Unni and Dr Vikram David. The team has expertise covering a broad range of specialties and are well equipped to offer you expert advice on your condition onsite.

The specialist gastroenterologist onsite offers healthcare for all aspects of gastroenterology, pancreaticobiliary and hepatology. Similarly, the team of orthopaedic specialists offers a fully comprehensive range of healthcare services for both upper and lower limb conditions as well as spinal and trauma injuries. The physiotherapist onsite is available to help with your recovery from and illness as well as prevent further injury.

The new speech pathology services include assessing, diagnosing and treating speech conditions in both adults and children, including delayed speech, literacy difficulties, swallowing problems and communication difficulties associated with the following:

• in adults - stroke, Parkinson's disease and dementia
• in children - hearing loss, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability

The cardiology services are provided through Heartscope Victoria and include consultations, ECGs and stress echocardiogram.

All members of the team are always registered with the appropriate medical bodies and provide ethical and safe care.
