Dr Zaid Ali

Zaid Ali is a visiting specialist in restorative dentistry at the Mapplewell Dental Centre. He is currently a consultant in restorative dentistry at the Leeds Dental Institute, where he leads on the dental rehabilitation of patients with head and neck cancers and manages the dental concerns of patients with many other complex medical and dental histories.

Zaid's extensive training and qualifications include completing his specialty training at Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, where he took his specialty exams in 2018. Additionally, he holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield for his research into the quality of life impacts of tooth loss and the impact of dental prosthetics to improve these impacts. Zaid also has a Master's Degree with distinction in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics from The University of Manchester and a certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from UCLAN.

Zaid has published 14 peer-reviewed publications and continues to take an active role in teaching and research. His expertise and commitment to the field make him a valuable asset to our practice.
