Mr Yasser Abdullah

Mr Yasser Abdullah is a highly experienced Ophthalmology Specialist with expertise in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of a wide range of eye conditions. Registered with the Arab Board of Health Specialisations since 2013, he is dedicated to delivering advanced, patient-centred eye care while utilising the latest developments in ophthalmic surgery and technology.

Mr Abdullah graduated with an MB BCh from the University of Tikrit in 2002 and has since pursued extensive postgraduate training completing a prestigious Master of Surgery (ChM) in Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Edinburgh in 2020.

His clinical expertise encompasses the management of cataracts, glaucoma, corneal diseases, oculoplastic conditions, strabismus, and lacrimal disorders. He performs a broad range of advanced ophthalmic procedures, including cataract surgery, lens replacement surgery, corneal transplantation, YAG laser treatment, implantable collamer lens procedures, and laser vision correction techniques such as LASIK, LASEK, and SMILE.

Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Abdullah maintains a strong interest in research and innovation. During his Master’s degree, he conducted research exploring the application of artificial intelligence and robotics in cataract surgery, reflecting his commitment to advancing the future of ophthalmic care and surgical excellence.
