Dr William Griffiths-Jones is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in trauma and lower limb surgery. He focuses on diagnosing and treating a broad range of joint conditions and musculoskeletal injuries, with a primary clinical focus on lower limb reconstruction. Dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, Dr Griffiths-Jones works collaboratively with individuals to create tailored management plans designed to relieve pain, restore joint function, and improve quality of life.

His clinical practice encompasses both elective orthopaedic procedures and complex trauma management. Dr Griffiths-Jones possesses sub-specialist expertise in primary and revision joint replacement surgery, including total knee replacements, partial knee replacements, and primary hip replacements. He has a keen focus on clinical research into advanced knee alignment methodologies and has played a key role in developing rapid recovery pathways that optimise post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacement patients.

Dr Griffiths-Jones earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree and completed extensive higher specialist training in trauma and orthopaedics. He attained Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics, FRCS (Tr&Orth), and completed a prestigious sub-specialist Fellowship in knee surgery in Sydney, Australia. He is fully registered on the General Medical Council Specialist Register as a Specialist in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.
