Mr Vishnu Sadasivan

i am a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Clinical Lead at The New Foscote Hospital, with over 14 years of international clinical experience across the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Central Africa and India.

My clinical practice focuses on the assessment, diagnosis within my professional scope, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. I work with patients experiencing back and neck pain, spinal conditions, sports injuries, joint and soft tissue problems, persistent pain and post-operative orthopaedic conditions.

I have extensive experience in rehabilitation following joint replacement surgery, fractures and other orthopaedic procedures. I develop individualised rehabilitation programmes based on each patient's clinical presentation, functional needs and personal goals, with an emphasis on restoring movement, improving strength and supporting a safe return to everyday activities.

My approach combines thorough clinical assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement rehabilitation and patient education. Where clinically appropriate, I also use treatment techniques such as dry needling, shockwave therapy and myofascial cupping as part of an individualised management plan.

I believe that effective physiotherapy involves more than addressing symptoms. It requires understanding the individual, identifying factors that may contribute to their condition and working collaboratively to establish realistic treatment goals. I aim to help patients understand their condition, participate actively in their recovery and develop the knowledge and confidence to manage their symptoms and maintain their progress.

My experience across hospital-based physiotherapy, outpatient musculoskeletal services and inpatient rehabilitation has enabled me to manage a broad range of presentations, from acute musculoskeletal injuries to complex and long-standing conditions.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). I am committed to maintaining and developing my clinical knowledge through continuing professional development, including further training in spinal biomechanics, radiology for physiotherapists and advanced musculoskeletal treatment techniques.

My priority is to provide safe, compassionate and individualised care, working in partnership with each patient to improve their function, mobility and quality of life.
